• The Objectives

  1. The generation of ready-to-use earth observation data cubes from optical and radar
     satellite data for all SALDI regions including all necessary pre-processing steps.
  2. The operationalization of prototypical algorithms and processors, creation of
     encapsulated, hardware-independent processors.
  3. The generation of high-resolution vegetation / degradation products as input variables for the SALDi degradation monitor and for the earth system model (SP 2) (all SALDi focus areas: 5 years; South Africa: exemplary for 1 year).
